The Exhibition Palace (SAFEX) in Pine Maritime is preparing to host the fifth edition of the International Packaging and Processing Exhibition “Expo AgroPack”, scheduled to take place from February 2 to 5, 2026. Launched for the first time in 2022, this event has become a leading international platform bringing together the agricultural economy, food industries, and modern packaging technologies. Its name, combining “Agro” (agriculture) and “Pack” (packaging), perfectly reflects the event’s philosophy of linking production with packaging.

Alongside the commercial exhibition, February 3, 2026 will feature an intensive program of lectures and technical conferences addressing current economic and environmental challenges:
Morning Session (Ecological Transition):
11:00 – 11:30: Presentation by Mr. Belkacem Marouane (representative of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council – CREA) on “Packaging in the Face of Ecological Transition and Plastic Reduction.”
11:30 – 12:00: Presentation by Ms. Boudraa Aakila (National Waste Agency – AND) on “Waste Management Challenges in Algeria.”
Afternoon Session (Quality and Recycling):
14:00 – 14:30: Presentation by Mr. Manea Zoubir (CACQE Center) on “Food Packaging Safety and Compliance.”
14:30 – 15:30: Two sessions by Général Emballage, presented by Mr. Kheireddine Allal and Mr. Mohamed Bessa, on “Recycling Strategy and Supply of the Future Paper Mill in Naâma.”
15:30 – 16:00: Closing remarks by a representative of the Industrial Studies and Services Center (CEI).
